The only thing that kills an Original is a white oak stake from a certain white oak tree that they burned down a thousand years ago.

You can neutralize them with a silver dagger dipped in the ash if you stab them in the heart but they have a habit of getting out of that.

Their mother who created the immortality spell, or curse if you ask Kol, salvaged one of the stakes and created a dark object that supposedly was unbreakable. Of course Klaus found a way to destroy it. So now, there is no way to kill them.

Did I mention Klaus is immune to the dagger to the heart because he's half werewolf?

His vampire immunity carries over so you can't hurt him. He's immune to everything a vampire and a werewolf are immune to. He is literally unkillable. There's no hurting his werewolf side because his vampire side protects it and vice versa.

As for starving him. It's an idea, but his siblings would simply help him.

This is all ideally assuming he doesn't fatally bite any vampires or hurt anyone while trying to starve him.
